AMI Parser syntax error

Hello,
I'm using adhearsion 1.2.3 and asterisk 1.6.0.x
When I execute this command:
Adhearsion::VoIP::Asterisk.manager_interface.send_action("SIPPeers")
I may have this parser error (usually it works fine):

I've obfuscated ip addresses and ObjectName and IPaddress fields but there is nothing special.

We probably will need the wire log to troubleshoot this, especially since Asterisk 1.6.0 has not been supported by Digium for some time.
Can you upgrade to at least 1.6.2? Even better if you can upgrade to 1.8 or later (the current long-term support release).
