Could not connect to the sandbox server!

Followed the "getting started", but I get this error when I do ahn start . (I checked the ticket history, but could not find the resolution).

% ahn start .
INFO ahn: Adhearsion initialized! ERROR sandbox: Could not connect to the sandbox server! Sandbox component stopping...

Is there an easy way to check if the sandbox server component is running ? Maybe having a status dashboard would work...
