Reported by dimas | November 14th, 2009 @ 06:45 AM
Note this one is not the same as #84 which is about handling UserEvents received from Asterisk. This issue is about sending UserEvents to Asterisk.
Adhearsion 0.8.3 the following code just hangs.
$ami.send_action 'UserEvent', :UserEvent => "test"

Are you sure that UserEvent is a valid AMI action? I don't see it after a cursory internet search. Everything I can find suggests it's just a dialplan application.

It seems the issue is caused by the problem in Asterisk itself. I opened issue on their Mantis - https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=16264

- Assigned user cleared.
- State changed from new to invalid
- Milestone order changed from 0 to 0
Closing per reporter as an Asterisk bug.
