  Yes, I have been able to recreate this under Windows as well. This needs more research as under Linux/OSX you see this:

  Right now Adhearsion is not Windows compatible, so I recommend using it under Linux or OSX for the time-being.

  I ran a test today on Windows XP with Ruby 1.8.6 and Rubygems 1.3.1. Everything worked. Here is what I tested:

  • Sandbox component - worked
  • Changes to dialplan w/o restarting ahn - worked
  • Events - worked

  Not sure exactly what happened, but something must have been rectified by the time 0.8.1 made it out. So, looks like we have Windows support again!

  Although still need to write the Windows Service component, will only run interactively for now.

  I ran the same set of tests with Cygwin on Windows XP. Worked fine.

  This ticket should be closed. What I speculate happened, is that we had put the disabled/sandbox component in the master on Github but had not released. So folks tried following the sandbox instructions with the 0.8.0 gem, and of course it was not there as that release did not have the sandbox.
